In researching politics and the Internet, I came across some articles cheering on the Millenials and their use of technology. Well, I wasn't sure exactly what a Millenial was so back to the research...."A Millenial is a person born between 1977 and 1994." Well, the definition made be feel really old....as I was born before 1977. So I decided to take the Pew Research quiz, "How Millenial Are You?". There are only fourteen questions....it takes just a snap to take it and you can get your score. Well, let's just say my score is between a "Silent Member" and a "Baby Boomber"......which is VERY, VERY low. It's ok, I kind of figured I would be low. But CLICK HERE to take the quiz.

Nancy,
I was born in 1974, which makes me a Gen Xer. But I was curious how much I have in common with this younger generation dubbed Millenials. I took the quiz and I scored a 22. That lands smacks dab between Baby Boomer and Gen Xer. But 22 is NO WHERE near a Millenial, which is a 73. It would be interesting to know how a Millenial would answer those questions to know where we differ.
Thanks for sharing this quiz.

Wow. I was born in 1968, but I scored a 68, which puts me in the millenial neighborhood. The interesting thing is that I've always thought I had more in common with the baby boomers. Pretty cool quiz.
I liked the quiz. I was born in 1974 so that makes me a GenXer but I scored an 88 on the quiz. The quiz shows that I'm a Millennial. I try to keep up with the new technology so I guess according to this quiz I'm keeping up.
Hmmm. I was born in 1985 but I scored a 44. I guess that makes me a Millenial, but a score of 44 is on the low side of Gen X. That makes sense, though, since I don't really text, etc, and I tend to be closest friends with most folks who are part of Gen X. Interesting quiz!
Thanks for the link, great quiz. I was born in '83 but scored a 38 which puts me in the GenX category. Like Mike's comment I have also found myself more comfortable with the GenX crowd. It probably comes from my political views and dislike of phones.
I was born in 1975, so GenXer but definitely fit in with the Millenial with a score of 88. I think part of it is that many of my friends are Millenial plus my younger sisters fall into that category. I also love technology and get excited about learning new things (like recently when I finally learned how to put my GPS coordinates into GIS to create a map, I spent two days just making maps and brainstorming new ideas for more maps.)
I have attended many presentations on how to relate to different generations and when they talk about GenXer's I definitely fit the profile of a typical GenXer yet work to keep up with the next generation so can somewhat relate to the Millenail.
